Welcome
I am an independent, completely unattached writer, available for all projects individual or communal, big or small,
round or fat, poetic, sardonic, obsessive or just plain love stories about smoked cheese.
My writing style is adaptable and suitable for both digital and print media. I am interested in contributing SEO content, web content, printed features and articles, blogs, social media, press releases, promotional material and book projects.

I currently contribute to official publications of Leeds United Football club, including the Matchday Programme and Official Club Website. I am also a contributing writer to James Brown's latest venture Sabotage Times, the topical football website TeamCrowds.com and the Leeds lifestyle website My Life in Leeds. I have recently had articles and letters published in FourFourTwo magazine, Leeds Guide, The Square Ball fanzine, FQ Magazine, Junior Magazine and the Reader's Digest. Finally, I contribute Blog posts to the website of the company Beanstalk Toys.
My priorities at the moment are two Leeds United book projects and I am also developing a children's story series for which I am seeking a publisher. During 2012 I am compiling a book on the 100 Greatest Leeds United Players Of All Time. This is based on a new fans vote conducted in conjunction with Leeds United, and will include extensive biographies and stats on all 100 players. The book is due to be launched in December 2012 and you can keep updated with news and announcements on the book and the launch via a Facebook page.

In the meantime I am also working on compiling a definitive history of Elland Road Football Ground. This has never been attempted before and includes the development of the stadium, the changing environment in the surrounding area and the various operations that make up the matchday experience. This is a long term project and I am currently compiling responses from fans who have submitted stories and anecdotes to include in the book.
Welcome to my site. You won't get lost, so feel free to look around and follow the various links to my work and that of people and organisations I am associated with. |
